Day 136 - Our Night With The Carris Kiddos

Tonight Kaycee and I hung out with the Carris Kiddos. Rob and Molly went on a date and the kids and I had a great time. We played outside, we at dinner, we played wii, and then it was bedtime. Kaycee did great, going to bed right on time.

My prayer for today is for safety for family and friends! 

Zoo

Today Kaycee and I went to the Zoo with Molly and the kids! We went to the Butterfly house and saw the giraffes, buffalo, penguins and much much more. Kaycee was perfect the whole time! We were walking by the buffalo and saw this fun peacock sign. I wanted a picture of Kaycee sitting in front of it. The first try was a massive failure (she face planted into the dirt). The second try was a bit smarter and turned out perfect!

Day 135 - Grocery Shopping

Today I finally went grocery shopping. I took Kaycee in the carrier, but when it was time to fill the bags I was struggling. So I put her in the cart. I think next time I might take the cart cover and sit her there the whole time. She's adorable! 

Before the grocery shopping we took Grandpa to the hospital for routine tests. It was great to get to see Grandpa in the middle of the week. 

My prayer for today is for health for family and friends!

New Hair

Today Anthony took out his hair. He had braided it and left it for a few days, the outcome was some curls! I love his dreads!!

Day 134 - Evening Walk

Tonight we all took a walk together. I pushed Grammy in the wheel chair and Anthony pushed Kaycee in the stroller. It was a beautiful day out and we really felt a work out during. I hope we take more walks together! 

Day 133 - Sewing Projects

I worked hard today. I did 6 loads of laundry, sewed several projects, cleaned the kitchen and so much more! One of my sewing projects was the cover for the big chair in Kaycee's room and another was to sew the letters back on to Kaycee's onsie (they started to fall of in the wash). I'm still working on the cloth wipes, their taking longer than I expected. 

My giraffe fabric came today!! I'm so excited to start working on the curtains and crib skirt for Kaycee's room. The next step will be getting pictures up on the wall and other small projects. We'll finish the nursery eventually! 

My prayer for today is that Kaycee is creative and artistic! 

Grammy Time

While Momma cleaned out and organized the sewing stuff, Kaycee sat with Gramma. They had a nice conversation and played for a while. Unfortunately, Kaycee has been rather fussy today. I think her teeth are hurting her. Anyway, I love to see Grammy and Kaycee interact. It warms my heart! 

Floor Play

This morning Momma needed to put away to loads of Kaycee's laundry. She played on the floor the whole time! She's getting used to being on the floor and reaching for her toys! We're following doctor's orders! 

Day 132 - Sunday

Today we went to church and of course I missed the sermon, because Kaycee needed to eat. We really need to get that fixed. After church Grandpa, Anthony and I stayed to play our new game, Sentinals of the Multiverse, Revenge. Grandma stayed to clean and organize Sunshine School.  I ran out to grab sub sandwiches from Subway and was surprised to see that all regular subs were 5 dollars!  Then we came home and relaxed the rest of the evening! 

My prayer for today is that we fix the issue at church and that I can hear the sermons to worship while nursing Kaycee! 

Day 131 - Harriet's Wedding

Today was Harriet and Timothy's wedding. It was beautiful! This afternoon's task was to stack the cakes and add the border and flowers. I am so thankful that it went well and that it was so well received. 

My prayer for today is for Harriet and Timothy and their future together in Christ! 

Day 130 - Anniversary date part 2

Tonight Anthony and I went out on our 2 Year Anniversary Date part 2. We went to Benihana's for dinner. We went to Benihana's on our wedding night and tonight was just as good. We sat at a table with one other couple on their 22nd wedding anniversary. I got the Teriyaki Steak and Chicken and Anthony got Hibachi Filet Mignon. We also got a Vanilla sundae for dessert to celebrate our anniversary. Then we went to the mall to walk around and buy a new game as a gift to each other. We topped off the night with some ice cream from Baskin Robbins. 

My prayer for tonight is for many more years of love and family with my love, Anthony!! 

Happy Friday

Happy Friday everyone! I just couldn't resist how cute this little peanut is!!

Today we spent the morning and early afternoon at the church covering and decorating the tiers of Harriet's wedding cake. Kaycee was fantastic! If she wasn't sleeping, she was sitting in her bumbo helping me! She was a welcome distraction throughout the morning. I enjoy baking and decorating cakes, but I enjoy it more with Momma's Helper!  

Day 129 - Happy Birthday Framma

HAPPY BIRTHDAY FRAMMA!!

We're so thankful God made you perfect to be Kaycee's Framma!! 

Today's prayer is for Framma. We're so thankful for her and all she means to our family! Thank you God for a great Framma!! 

Lunch With Daddy

Today was a busy one for Kaycee and me. We left early this morning and baked all morning at the church. She slept for the first hour and half which gave me a good amount of time to get the cakes in the over. Then she woke up and played in the bouncy seat from the nursery. We ran an errand and had lunch with Daddy while we waited for the cakes to cool. Finally, we packaged them up and got them ready to be iced and stacked tomorrow. 

Bumbo Tray

We put the bumbo tray on today. I thought that it would eliminate the need for me to be constantly picking up her toys... that wasn't the case. Oh well, it was a good try!
