Church/Chilis

After church today Molly held a VBS meeting. I volunteered to teach the preschool class for VBS! During the meeting all the little girls were playing together and sharing their snacks, so I had to ask Anthony to bring in the diaper back so Kaycee could share her animal crackers.

Then mom, dad, Jon, Anthony, Kaycee and I went to Chili's for lunch. Jamey met us there when he got back from EUM. Mom and I had lots to discuss for this week, Boyds and VBS. Kaycee was quite tired by the end of lunch and almost fell asleep in Grandma's arms.

Visiting GG and GGpa

Today after a slow wake up we had breakfast and hung out with Aunt Beth and Uncle Jeff for a while before heading over to Grama Nancy's and Grampa Tom's house around lunch time. They took us to Hickory Rivers for lunch which was super tasty. I could tell that they were worn out by the time we got back from lunch so we dropped them off and headed back to the Hedges house for nap time. Kaycee napped normally and then we hung out with Aunt Beth and Uncle Jeff a while longer before heading back to Grama and Grampa's house for dinner. Grama made sloppy joes with chips and baked beans for dinner and cookies for dessert. It was so fantastic to get to see them this weekend! It even worked out that we left around bed time and Kaycee was able to sleep all the way home! I'm so thankful that Aunt Beth and Uncle Jeff were able to host us and that Grama and Grampa felt well enough to see us!!

Momma's Doctors Appointment

After morning snuggles, Kaycee and I went to my doctor's appointment. I was a little nervous about bringing her to the appt by myself, but she did great. The appt's are always quick and so we weren't in the office for very long.   Kaycee did great and even was quite while the doctor was talking to me!

After Anthony got home from work, we left to go visit Grama and Grampa! When we got into town we met Grama and Grampa at their house for a bit before leaving for dinner at Monicals with Dad (he had been in town for doctor's appointments and was leaving tonight, but stayed to meet up with us for dinner).  They were tired after dinner so we just went on to Aunt Beth and Uncle Jeff's house, which was the right decision because they were home long enough for Cam to change before going off to a Graduation party. After putting Kaycee down to bed, Anthony and I figured out their x-box system and were able to watch Hawaii 5-0 on their TV. They came back before the episode was even done and we got to hang out with them! I'm so thankful for their hospitality!!

Music Cake

I finished it! It may or may not be 1:15am, but it's finished. I'll deliver it tomorrow and be done!

After having to redo the chocolate layer of the cake, I covered each individual cake by itself. Then I stacked them and decorated them. While decorating the front, the cake fell off the back of the turn table and landed on its back. I had already decorated in black on a white covered cake. It smeared and stained, but I was able to clean it up as best as possible!

Watching Carris Kiddos

Tonight Anthony and I watched the Carris kiddos while they went to celebrate their anniversary. The evening went fairly well until we ran out of diapers for Kaycee. She has peed through every diaper she owns over the last 2 days and tonight was no exception. She peed through both diapers that we brought which left only inserts to be worn. Unfortunately, without the diaper there really isn't a way to wear the insert. So I just packed it tightly into a pair of Truett's underwear and she walked around without pants (she had also peed through both pairs of extra pants that I carry around in the diaper bag).  Luckily, daddy came to the rescue with more diapers and jammies!

Pony Tale

Look at Kaycee's cute pony tale! Can't you see it!! It's there, keep looking!!!

Trinity

Today was Grammy's day at Trinity. Kaycee of course helped Grammy to and from the car! Grammy had a good time. Hopefully, everyone will warm up to each other and talk to her a little more! I'm so thankful that Grammy is enjoying her time at Trinity and that this can continue to be a great thing for her!
