When Kaycee would get fussy during meal times we would pass her around and this time it was Uncle Jon's turn! She was content and happy as can be!

Day 81 - Fishing From The Dock

It's pretty much tradition to fish off the dock at some point during the week. This time it was all the boys. The girls stayed inside away from the bugs. Dad got a surprise while fishing for pan fish. We have a musky that lives under the dock. That causes some tension when thinking about diving off the dock into the lake. However, it didn't seem to scare away the bluegills. 

Mosquito Protection

The mosquito's are SOOO bad here. I am anxious about Kaycee getting bitten and dying from mosquito disease. We even had to protect her inside while she sleeps. Hopefully, this works! 

Walmart Trip

Our last and final stop before making to Boyds! We stopped at Walmart to pick up socks for Kaycee. In all my crazy packing, I forgot the socks. Kaycee fell asleep in the Ergo while walking the aisle of Walmart. I'm pretty sure we bought toddler socks, but Kaycee will fit into them soon enough! 

Kaycee's First Swimming Pool

Kaycee's first swimming experience! After breakfast Kaycee and I went swimming in the hotel pool. She loved every moment of it. She smiled and cooed the whole time! Daddy and Gramma and Grampa stayed on the side watching! I love my little swimmer! 

Day 80 - Monicals Pizza

We're going on vacation! We're going on vacation! We're going on vacation! (I know that school isn't over yet, but I'm going on vacation anyway) We left for Boyd's Mason Lake Resort today.  Even though we wont get onto the property until tomorrow, I can't help but be excited. Tonight we're going to drive part of the way and stop at Monicals for pizza. It's our tradition and it's tasty! We'll stay in a hotel and then finish our driving tomorrow! 

My prayer for today is safety while on vacation! 

Home For Lunch

I love coming home for lunch in the middle of the day. It allows me to nurse Kaycee and spend some quality time with her during my lunch break! I miss this precious face while I'm at work. I am counting the days until it's over and I can spend my whole day with her!! 

My prayer for today is that the rest of school goes quickly and I can start my Stay-At-Home Mom career! 

Day 79 - Paul

Today I got this picture of Paul hanging out with Kaycee on the play mat! Look how interested Kaycee is in what Paul's doing! 

My prayer for today is that Kaycee is interested in people and not things; that she desires to spend time with people and not things like media. 

Day 78 - Walking With Kate And Paul

Today I got this picture from Janice of them taking a walk. It's such a beautiful day outside and Kaycee loves the outdoors. I'm glad she's getting fresh air!! 

My prayer for today is that I enjoy every moment of my time with Kaycee and don't get caught up doing things "that need to get done."

Day 77 - Tummy Time With Auntie Janice

Today I got this picture from Janice of Kaycee doing tummy time. I'm so glad that Janice is on top of this! Sometimes I forget to do tummy time with Kaycee because I'm busy playing with her on my lap. I know that it's so good for her and that it helps her to be strong! 

My prayer for today is that I remember to help Kaycee grow not only physically but emotionally, spiritually and mentally too!

Day 76 - Smiles For Auntie Janice

This week Janice, Kate and Paul are staying with us! I'm so excited to have such a crew taking care of Kaycee this week. She's truly blessed to have such an amazing family with her. Paul and Kate will play with her and Janice will spoil her rotten! I got this happy picture at work today. I love that smiley face! 

My prayer for today is that I learn something about being a fabulous mom from Janice this week! 

Day 75 - Matching Church Outfits

The girls wore their matching skirts to church today. They were adorable! I'm so glad that these two girls love Kaycee. Hopefully they will help her to grow into a beautiful young woman! 

My prayer for today is that we share many more special moments with these two beautiful girls! 

Alli's Wedding Shower

Today was Alli's Cardinal Drive wedding shower. I was glad to be a part of her shower and I wish her the best of luck in her marriage. I made Alli's rehearsal dinner bouquet (out of the ribbons from her gifts). Alli you will be a wonderful wife!!
