Church/Little Man's Ultrasound/Party with the Small Group

This morning we went to church with the Meidams and stayed for a quick pot luck lunch after. Kaycee was a little squirmy and needed to be out in the hall to play during service. I sat with her in the extra room and we played and talked about Jesus. We also ate Veggie Straws which might have been her favorite part! Unfortunately, we had to say a quick goodbye and get on the road to make it to our appointment on time.
We had our 3D ultrasound with Liz at My First Peekaboo this afternoon. Anthony Terrance Neal III was way more cooperative then Kaycee ever was. He smiled and posed at the beginning of the appointment! It was awesome to see his cute chubby cheeks! (pictures to come!)
After our appointment we went to the Svendsens for dinner. I am so thankful that we have kept up with our friends in Racine. It was Bekah's birthday, so fun to celebrate with her!!

4th Of July!

Happy 4th of July America! We're so thankful that we get to celebrate freedom in our country. Freedom to be who we are and worship our loving God! We spent the day at the Meidam's, having a party! We're thankful that they hosted the 4th of July party so that we could be a part of it and keep Kaycee's routine somewhat in tact... It was a great day ended by wonderful fireworks. Kaycee stayed up the whole time! She loved being outside and having freedom to run around and play!!

A Run/Splash Pad Day

Today was a laid back kind of day. Kaycee went on a run with Kyra and Kynsey in the morning and we hung out outside while they filled in a part of their patio.  Kaycee took a nap in the morning and then we had lunch. After a visit to Grama Helen we went to the splash pad and then back to the house for dinner. By that time, Kaycee was tired and ready for bed. It was a great day to be together!

Tongues and Our First Night at the Meidams

Lately Kaycee has been sticking out her tongue whenever I try to take a selfie with her. Not sure where she learned it from, but I think it's stinkin' cute!

After Anthony got home, we loaded up and headed to Appleton. Kaycee did fairly well in the car. She fussed a little when we had some rap/hip hop music on. We discovered that that is not her favorite type of music. As soon as we turned her Jesus music on, she quieted down for a loooong time!
We spent our first night eating dinner, hanging out and playing with Kaycee. They have a large squishy slide and a mat that Kaycee enjoyed playing on. The only problem was her pants were too slippery. So of course the natural solution was to take off her pants. She seemed to enjoy that more.

Park with Molly and Christina

This morning my mom came over and I spent some time with her talking through a few things. Then I headed over to Molly's house! Molly, Christina, the kids and I walked to the park down the street to play and eat for a while. Unfortunately, there are some medical things going on in the Carris extended family that Molly needed to attend to, so we cut our morning short. We're praying that everything turns out well for the Carris family and that Molly and Rob are able to support their families this weekend!
