Famous Daddy/Bible Journaling

Other than selfies, we had a pretty great day! I spent some time Bible Journaling, my new hobby. I'm really enjoying worshipping God with art in my bible. I hope to get a real journaling bible soon, the one I'm using is old and has writing on many of the pages. Anthony was featured on Zurich's intranet. A picture of him and Tripp made the home page today and every Zurich employee can see it! 

2 Cuties and a Sassy Girl

Today I watched Kaycee out of the corner of my eye, and witnessed a very sassy action. She went to the diaper bag, took out my wallet, which she knows she's not allowed to play with. Then she ran through the kitchen and into the dining room, around the table and hid behind it, where she started to play with my wallet. That little sassy girl is getting smarter. Uh oh...

Blankie Snuggles/Small Group

Kaycee and I snuggled under the blankie for about 30seconds at a time, but enough times to get some cute pictures! She loves to snuggle under a blankie while Momma reads a book! Her attention span isn't too long, so usually we can only get through 1 book at a time. I'm not sure if I should be concerned about that. Every time I talk to the doctor about it, he doesn't seem concerned, so I won't be either. I'm glad that her mind is growing and that she's curious about lots of things. Liiike, her Daddy's shoes... 

Sister's Kisses

Kaycee loves to give Tripp kisses. I can't say that he always loves to receive sister kisses, but he doesn't usually complain. He usually ends up with a wet slobbery face, but it doesn't seem to bother him! Kaycee loves to give him kisses and I love to encourage the love! 

Flannel Shirts/Church and Wedding Showers

Anthony and Tripp matched today for church! Don't they look cute in their flannel shirts??

I made a cake for the combined wedding shower for Steve and Stephanie and Ethan and Latara! It turned out well and I was pleased! I wish I had made it bigger, but it went around just perfectly! Kaycee took her bath tonight and got to use her bath crayons for the first time! She loves them!! I just need to remember to wipe them off after each bath so they don't stick too badly. 

Breakfast For Dinner

Anthony made breakfast for dinner tonight! He made me my favorite IHOP flavored pancakes, multigrain and nut pancakes, eggs and sausage! I'm super thankful for a hubby who can make a killer breakfast! After dinner, Anthony gave Tripp his first bottle! We know that we have a few things coming up in the future, where Tripp will have a babysitter and need to take a bottle. We learned from our mistake with Kaycee, and started the bottle early. He probably won't have a bottle very often, but he did great tonight and took it like a champ! No worries there! 

MeMa Visit

Mema came by to visit today! It is super helpful to have her here and take some attention off of me. Kaycee loves Mema and usually Mema can hold her attention long enough for me to nap/nurse/do something like laundry. I love how much Kaycee loves her Mema!! 

Jammies/Tacos

We spent a large portion of our day in our jammies today! Sometimes you just need a day like that! Tripp and Kaycee both look adorable in their footy jammies! Kaycee was super excited when I pointed out that they both were still wearing their jammies. Thankfully, I was at least wearing clothes when DJ came over to bring her tacos. She brought tacos when Kaycee was born, and Anthony was particularly excited about having her tacos again! They were super tasty and there was even enough left over for tomorrow!! Thank you DJ!!
