This little peanut is (hopefully) going to be a reader! She loves to sit and look at books as well as sit on my lap and read them. If they're a little longer, she loses focus half way through, but we're working on that. Hopefully, this translates into a great learner!!

Cinnamon Roll Pancakes

Anthony usually makes great breakfasts on Saturday mornings and today was no different. He made cinnamon roll pancakes from scratch! I would have to say that I am pretty lucky to have a great breakfast chef in the house!! 

Movies With The Ladies

This afternoon I went out with Molly, Alaina, Rebecca, Donna, and DJ to see the new Pitch Perfect movie. Although it was the most expensive outing I've had in a long time, it was well worth it! It was great to spend time with all these ladies, out in the real world without any children! Thanks for organizing a great afternoon Alaina!

Cookies From The Carris's

This afternoon we took a quick family date to Menchies for dessert! While we were there, Rob and Zoe surprised us with a box of homemade peanut butter cookies! They were delicious and what a wonderful surprise! Thanks Carris family for being awesome! 

Lunch With Daddy

Today we went to have lunch with Daddy at his work. I love to sit with him in the middle of the day, especially when it's laid back and relaxed. Kaycee wasn't all that interested in eating, instead she wanted to wonder around the cafeteria. These family pictures say it all! 

Playing With Daddy

This is one of the best sites for a Momma ever. I love it when Anthony gets home from work and plays with Kaycee, especially when he gets down on the floor and rolls around with her. She loves to climb on him and wrestle with him. They played like this for a long time this afternoon and I just sat and smiled!! 

Playing With Miriam

After a great visit at SCJ, Kaycee and I went over to Sarah and Miriam's house. Kaycee fell asleep on the way to their house and finished her nap in Miriam's pack n play. Sarah fed us spaghetti, which of course Kaycee loved, for lunch! Then the girls played and played. Sarah and Miriam gave Kaycee a cute new outfit with giraffes on it! Now they're matching!! I love it!! I'm so thankful for my friend!!

Magic Show

Tonight we met Dad and Mom at Steak N Shake for dinner before the Magic Show. Kaycee went home with Grama and went to bed while Dad, Anthony and I went to the show. Anthony is a member of a Magic club that meets once a month and this month's meeting was a stage magic competition. (Anthony said he'll be a part of the close up competition in December). It was cool to watch all the magicians do their thing and cheer on our favorites. We got to vote in the end for which magician we thought was the best. The magician who won had some cool tricks (but were definitely gimicky and tricks we had seen before). Anthony and I both were called onto stage to be a part of 2 separate acts, which was super fun! Even though it was after 11 when we got home, it was super fun!
