Kaycee had a terrible night last night. Eventually this morning I brought her into bed with me (after Anthony had left for work) and we slept for another hour. It's unfortunate that her night was so terrible, because she was invited to participate in Sunshine School's field trip today! We went to Crabtree Nature Center with the other Sunshine schoolers! It was so much fun. They got to meet a snake, play in the indoor area, watch the fishies, turtles and other animals. Then we walked outside, saw the owls and other large birds and went to the outdoor play area. There was a spiders web to climb and play on, a butterfly garden to watch the butterflies flutter around, a small pod with froggies and even a little hut made out of logs and sticks. The kids had a great time and Kaycee was so happy to be there! Tripp slept most of the time and looked super cute in his bear outfit! Thank you Mema for inviting us to the Sunshine School field trip!

Meeting Baby Esther Faith!
Kaycee, Tripp and I went up to Kenosha today to meet baby Esther Faith! We've been waiting a long time for her arrival and we're soo happy she's here! Thank you Jesus for a safe delivery and happy healthy baby and Mommy!! Esther is a very sweet and precious baby girl!! It was great to see Sarah and Mark and to catch up, it's been a while. Kaycee and Miriam had a great time playing together! It's so sweet to watch them finally interact with each other and even starting to share the toys! Even though Tripp is huge, Tripp and Esther are super cute together! I love having babies the same age!

Church/Baking Cookies/Sewing Project
After church today, Kaycee and I "fixed" her swing in the back yard. I added a log to the side of the branch so that the swing would swing from the same height. It worked, except I wasn't able to secure the log as tightly as it needed and so the swing does rock a bit. I need a big strong man to tightly secure the log! Then Kaycee and I came inside and made some cookies. She just starting to help Momma in the kitchen. She mostly wanted to eat the raw ingredients, that's my little grazer. Later after the kids went to bed, I did a sewing project. I accidentally ordered wet bags that were WAY too big for the little trash can in Tripp's room where we put dirty diapers. So I cut it in half and sewed it up, making 2 wet bags instead!

Alaina's Marathon
(Pictures to come)
Today we went to support Alaina in her marathon. We knew that we wouldn't make it home in time for nap, so we stopped at my parents house first. We exchanged Kaycee for Dad and Jon. Kaycee stayed with Mema and went to visit Grammy and then nap while we went to cheer on Alaina. We took a school bus shuttle from the fair grounds parking lot to the start/finish line of the race. We met Alaina's mom and eventually Rebecca, Cindy and Beth there. We got to see Alaina about a mile before the end and then as she crossed the finish line! We're so proud of her!!! Great run Alaina!!

Park Time
Kaycee, Tripp and I went to the park today! We needed to get out of the house, it was fairly good weather and the park isn't that far away! I'm thankful for a nice park near our house! We walk with the stroller and play at the park for a while then stroll home. Kaycee loves to swing. She starts off in the baby/toddler swing and then loves to end up in the big girl swing! Usually Kaycee and Momma spider swing for a while! She also loves the slide. Unfortunately, the park was a little wet today and her pants ended up soaked by the time she was done. Fortunately, we don't live very far!
