Uncle Jamey's in town today getting his license back, so we decided he should come play with us. WE also decided last minute that we would go swimming, so we popped into the Ross, next door to the DMV and bought him a cheap swim suit. We ended up at the pool, where Truett joined us! Molly needed to visit Bill and Edna in the hospital, so Truett got to swim with us! Kaycee had the best time ever with Uncle Jamey and Truett in the pool. Then we headed to Chick Fil A for lunch where the kids got to play! Post Chick Fil A, we came home and played in the backyard, until Molly picked up Truett! It was a great day!

Tripp's CRAWLING!, Zoo with Sarah and the girls
Sarah and the girls came down today to spend the day and go to the zoo! It was very exciting to play and hang out with them! The zoo was warm and wonderful! The girls were super cute sitting in Sarah's double stroller together, hopping out to look at the fishies, and in general being together. We had a short panic moment when we realized that Sarah had lost her phone. She left it sitting in the bathroom, and it had been turned into lost and found. Thankfully, we were able to get it back at the end of our zoo trip!
Tripp started crawling today! Isn't that exciting?!? Now he's mobile!??!

Church
Tripp looked super handsome for church today in his spiky hair and Kaycee looked super cute in her yellow bow! We had lunch with the Smiths after church at Noodles! Auntie Laina was there too!
Telling the Smiths
After church today we went to lunch with the smiths and Alaina. It ended up being the perfect time to announce that we are expecting! The adults sat at 1 table and the kids, including Kaycee sat at another. It was all going well, until Susie slipped in front of Ty. Then Ty new and now all the children knew. We're happy the whole family knows, can they keep it a secret??

Yard Work at Mema and Papas, Ladies Day
We spent the morning at Mema and Papas house helping out with some yard work. Apparently, recently they got a citation for having a broken/ratty looking fence and were instructed to take it down. The city gave them minimal time (like 7 days) to accomplish the task. It's going to take a while longer, but we made some progress today. There was lots of weed wacking, chopping of logs, taking out fence posts, sawing them in half, etc. Mostly Kaycee played on the playset with whoever would play with her and Tripp looked cute on the blanket eating a snack!
Mom and I went to Ladies Day at church in the afternoon. It was good, not quite what I was expecting. 3 ladies gave their testimonials about how Jesus had helped them through something, which gave some new insight into their lives and why they are the way they are. It was great to hear how God has worked in someone elses life!
Then we had a dinner at Mema and Papa's house and home for bed!

Scary Choking Moment
This morning, comes in at one of the most scary moments of my life as a Mommy. As I got up to get Kaycee her cup of milk, Tripp stole some bacon off my plate. He proceeded to choke on the bacon. Coughing and coughing until he stopped coughing and stopped making any noise at all. I turned him over on my arm and pounded his back (like you're supposed to do for infant CPR) and still nothing came up. I could tell he was having trouble breathing because he started to wheeze. I finally called 911. The dispatcher stayed on the line until the paramedics showed up. Thankfully, Tripp had coughed out the piece of bacon before they arrived and was his perfectly happy little self. My heart was in my chest the whole time and I felt completely helpless. The paramedics were wonderful making Tripp laugh while checking all his vitals. I declined to have him transferred to the hospital and he's been fine all day! Thank you God for sparing my baby!
