It's always a little bit of an adrenalin rush when you see flashing lights outside your house. Apparently a fire alarm was going off in a house across the street, but there was no one home. I felt bad for the people outside because it was freezing out there. So I went and offered a warm home while the fire fighters were doing their thing. The officer I talked to said they were just packing up. It's probably a good thing that no one needed a warm home because we've got the sickness going through our home.
God please keep our loved ones safe from fires and thank you that no one was hurt across the street.
