Tonight Anthony and I went on our Christmas date. We drove to Cumberland and got on the blue line towards Chicago. We got off at Washington street where the Richard Daily Center is. The Christkindlmarket is right at the top of the stairs from the CTA. We walked around the market and into the little shops. We bought two ornaments (1 4 leaf clover for Kaycee and 1 pickle). We also got a soft pretzel, some pecans and chocolate. Then we walked to Macy's and looked at the Christmas windows. We even ran into the Beauchamps at Macys. We walked around Macy's looking at cologne and even checking out the wait at the Walnut room (which was 3 hours or so). We chose to leave and try for Gino's East. Unfortunately, it closed too early, so we had dinner at Lou Malnoti's in Schaumburg. We got the Lou salad, which the Ray's introduced us to and a half and half pepperoni and Lou pizza. Super tasty! Overall, it was a wonderful Christmas date!! I'm so thankful to be married to Anthony!!!
Thank you God for giving Anthony and I another Christmas to celebrate together. Also thank you for giving us Grama and Grampa to babysit!!
