Today Kaycee and I went to Jamey's conference swim meet (CCIW) at the Rec Plex in Pleasant Prairie, WI. We left pretty early in the morning; I was pretty nervous about leaving Grammy alone all day, but she did great! Jamey swam 1 race in the morning session. Kaycee played in the aisle and in the bleacher seats with Gramma and Grampa while we were waiting for Jamey to swim. She did a great job being in the hot pool so long.
He swam the same race in finals along with a relay. He swam great! We were so happy to watch him do his thing! Emma was at finals and spent a great deal of time playing with Kaycee. I snuck some peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and fruit into the meet, so Kaycee had plenty of snacks. We finally left the meet around 9:30pm, stopped at the drive through for some dinner and then made it home after 10:30pm. We're so thankful to spend the day with family and cheer Jamey on in his conference meet!
