Today Kaycee and I went back to the hospital to visit Grammy. We're hoping that they figure everything out today and come up with an action plan to make her better. She has an endoscopy to view the swallowing problem. During the procedure they determined that there wasn't any problem that could be fixed and so they inserted a feeding tube. They know that she's aspirating while she eats/drinks and so she hasn't eaten or drank anything since. With the feeding tube, at least she's getting some nutrition. Kaycee and I had to sit in the waiting room during the procedure, while we waited for the results from the doctor. Kaycee got antsy and Momma had to get creative!
Tonight for dinner, Kaycee had rice. It's quite a site to watch her try to eat rice with a fork and spoon!
