Today was Saturday at Rocky Arbor State Park! We started off with breakfast and fellowship with everyone!! I love the fact that we had 1 site dedicated to be the place where everyone hangs out! It makes me so happy to see our church together in Nature loving on each other and having a great time! After a relaxed morning, we all got ready to head over to Mount Olympus. Even though the forecast said 0% chance of rain, it rained on us all through lunch. So going to a water park was going to be an interesting experience. We hoped that would keep some people away, but who were we kidding?
The water park was super crowded and super long. We seemed to walk forever before we found a place to plop down and enjoy the lazy river. The teens stopped at some rollercoasters near the front of the park and the rest of us went on to swim. It was awesome to float through the water with Kaycee, even though it was quite cold. We did play in the indoor pool for about 5.5 seconds before decided that it was way to crowded to be any fun.
After the pool we stopped at the grocery store and then headed back to camp for dinner. Dinner was later than planned, but still turned out fabulous. Everyone brought something delicious to our potluck and everyone enjoyed dinner! Mark and Janice made a blueberry cobbler, I made a peach cobbler and bought a cheesecake for Anthony's birthday! Overall, the day was awesome!
