We woke up this morning at a decent time (7:06a) which was welcomed! The kiddos played in the camper while Daddy and I woke up fully. We spent the morning playing in the house and lounging around. Tripp took a normal morning nap, because we were thinking that we would go to the lake after his morning nap with a picnic lunch. Unfortunately, the nap wasn't the greatest and Kaycee started losing her mind. I think she was so tired from such a long exciting weekend. So we had lunch at the house and then tried to put Kaycee down for a quick nap while getting everything ready to go. She did not nap, so we ventured to the lake instead. Tripp napped in his carseat for a while, and Kaycee did great because she was having a blast.
It was quite windy and there was some question about being able to actually kayak. Fortunately, we did Kayak (which is what I wanted to do!) and played in the beach. Kaycee borrowed a swim suit, which allowed her to fully go in the water. I however waded/kayaked in my jean shorts and tank top. I was soaked by the time we packed up to head home. It was a great afternoon in the sun and wind!
