This afternoon we went to the Schaumburg police department for our ticket hearing. We had received 2 tickets for accidentally leaving Anthony's car on the street while we were on vacation last month, and we were trying to fight the second one. The first one we gladly would pay, but we wern't here to move the car. We're super thankful that the man in charge was lenient at let the second one go!
Then we went off to VBS for night 1! It went great! I taught the 2/3 year olds and we had a blast! Even Anthony and Kaycee stayed for some of class. Taylor was my helper and she was great at keeping Emerson from crying the whole time! Today was Taylor's birthday, so I made her a cake for everyone to celebrate her birthday after VBS!
