Anthony made pancakes this morning for breakfast. It was nice to have Mom, Dad and Jon here for breakfast! Then I finished the cake and Alaina came to pick it up around 11. I love getting cake orders for friends, hopefully it makes it to Chicago in 1 piece and is tasty for the birthday party!
I took Kaycee and Tripp to Tom and Becky's party this afternoon. Anthony had a make up basketball game right over the top of the party, so he wasn't able to go. The party was fun, the food tasty, and the company even better. Jamey, Emma and I left early for the concert. My parents took the kids back to their house for the night. (Thank goodness they had power back).
The Lecrae concert was awesome! We arrived at Willow at 4pm and picked up our early entrance tickets. Then Jamey, Emma and I went and purchased dinner from their food court. Anthony stood in line to get good seats for the show. We brought him back dinner and he ate it quickly before the doors were even opened. We did manage to get seats in the front row of the balcony. The Saturday night service was good, they did an interview with Lecrae where he gave his testimony. Then we had to stay in our seats for the hour between the service and the concert. That way we got to keep our great seats. Anthony was singing along with the songs, I wish I knew more of them. Unfortunately, Lacrea isn't my favorite style of music, but it was still fun! After the concert we took Jamey and Emma back to their car and then had a late dinner at Cheesecake Factory. We did intend to only have an appetizer and dessert, but the food was looking too yummy. It filled us up and we weren't even able to eat our cheesecake tonight. What a great night, and it's not even over yet because we have the house to ourselves tonight!
