We were happy to get to stay for Kyra and Travis's gift opening this afternoon! We spent the morning helping the Meidams clean up and get ready for the party. Then ate left over Fazoli's pasta, watched Kyra and Travis open presents and passed out a lot of cake. There is so much still to be eaten. Good luck!
We ended up heading home and soon as they were finished in order to make it home for bed time. We stopped for dinner at Cracker Barrel, which was a good break in the trip! The kids and I took naps in the car, so it was a good excuse for Anthony to get out and stretch his legs. Getting home always feels so great, but the unpacking that's looming over our heads is putting a damper on the good feelings. That's what tomorrow is for, right?
