She's finally back in her cloth diapers!! Hopefully, stripping them yesterday did the trick and they'll stop leaking...
Today was Kaycee's 15 month doctor's appt. The doctor said she is perfect in every way!! She is 32.5in tall (90%tile), weighs 23.14lbs (70%tile) and has a head circumference of 47.5cm (90%tile). She got 2 shots in her arm, because she graduated from her leg, including chicken pox. She cried for about 30 seconds after the second shot, but was calmed right down! The doctor told us she could move to 1 nap whenever she starts showing signs of transitioning (giving us a hard time going down for her first nap), and she can start potty training whenever we want. We can't go crazy and do an intense 3 day plan, but we can introduce the potty. He wasn't concerned about her wheezing or her ears (which she had tugged on yesterday a bit). She is ahead of the curve with her vocabulary and her development. He told us that he would expect 3-5 words at this age. I thought she probably had about 20 words already. So it's confirmed she's brilliant!!
So, after work Anthony, Kaycee and I went to the store to pick out her very first potty seat! It's a white seat with yellow duckies on it. The doctor suggested we get a step stool so that Kaycee's feet wouldn't hang off the end of the toilet. So we bought one of those as well. When we got home and we tried her out on the potty for the first time, she did great! Her feet were no where near the step stool, but that's ok. She didn't go, but she sat there like a big girl and didn't throw a fit!! We're on our way!!
(Kaycee stole Grammy's garlic bread from her lunch and walked around the house eating it)
(Kaycee found Anthony's fish glove and put it on her hand all by herself!)
(Kaycee climbed herself onto my sewing chair and started messing with the dials and buttons. She found a button in the middle of a dial, I didn't even know was there.)
