Kaycee and Tripp woke up about 6:30am this morning, which caused all of us to get up that early, which resulted in us getting to breakfast close to 7:15am. Pancakes, waffles, biscuits and gravy, bacon and eggs, so much good breakfast food! Kaycee went fishing this morning! Papa, Daddy and Momma took Kaycee across the lake to fish for panfish. She did great! She only castes and realed in a few times, but was entertained by everyone catching fish and all the interesting things in the boat. We ended up on the water for over an hour. She loved touching the fish, picking up the worms and switching between all the adults. We kept lots of panfish, most medium size and a few large ones. Afterwards, Mema, Papa and Uncle Jon went out to the bar near our cabin. They caught several nice fish along with many panfish. Anthony and Kaycee fished off the dock, while Tripp and I sat on a towel on the dock. Kaycee jumped around the dock, scaring away the fish, but having the time of her life! Lunch was spaghetti along with the sandwich bar and salad bar. The kids were very happy to have spaghetti. After lunch, the kids went down for a nap while Dad and Anthony fished. They fished for a long time and have a fairly successful day of bass (too small to keep) and panfish. It started to thunder, which brought them back to the cabin. We thought we were going to clean all the panfish before dinner, which would leave us plenty of time after to play a game, however, there were too many people in the fish house when we got there. Unfortunately, we had to wait until after dinner to clean fish. We took over the small fish cleaning house and ended up with 32 bluegill filets and 24 perch filets in the freezer. Afterwards, we played a round of Bedpans and Broomsticks, where Jon (as the nurse/doctor) won.
